Hot on the heels of the first single from his upcoming long player on hfn muisc, Jacob Bellens pulls together a killer remix collection of title track Polyester Skin for sub-label hafendisko.

First up is Tuff City Kids, the production team made up of Running Back boss Gerd Janson and Phillip Lauer - and the result is predictably excellent. A tough 124bpm groove, cut up vocals from Jacob, and some playful rave-inspired stabs and progressions made this a potential monster for the club.

The Abstraxion remix goes quite a different route, with the French producer teasing out a deeper energy, featuring a slinky groove rich in synth arpeggiation.

Man Power, the (Berlin based Geoff Kirkwood) provides two other fine mixes for this release - the main version keeping Jacob’s vocal intact and marrying it to an atmospheric house backbone, building and unfolding classily over 8 minutes. The Man Power Dub rounds out this impressively diverse remix package.
