Loosen up, Let it go
Nothings wrong with your nose
Wash your face, take a deep breath
Don’t try too hard, just Be yourself
Yeah, no matter what you’re feeling
Someone else has been there too
Everybody’s got their own tragic story
If you care about yourself as much as everybody else
Things will work out so don’t worry about it
It’s a new day in your life
So much to do before you die
Life is short, but there is time
It’s okay, you’re doing fine
It’s up to you who to love
To decide when you’ve had enough
What to do for a job
You only got one life so don’t fuck it up
Yeah, no matter what you’re feeling
Someone else has been there too
Everybody’s got their own tragic story
If you care about yourself as much as everybody else
Things will work out so don’t worry about it
It’s a new day In your life
So much to do before you die
Life is short but there is time
It’s okay you’re doing fine
Yeah, no matter what you’re feeling
Someone else has been there too
We all still have to get up every morning
If you care about yourself as much as everybody else
Things will work out so don’t worry about it
It’s a new day In your life
So much to do before you die
Life is short but there is time
It’s okay you’re Doing fine

It’s so easy to get caught up in waves of overthinking. So with his new single “Doing Fine”, Jacob Bellens encourages the listeners to relax, breathe out, and stop being so hard on themselves.
Having worked with several collaborators since the release of his last album “My Heart Is Hungry And The Days Go By So Quickly” in 2020, Bellens teams up with another Danish artist M.I.L.K.
“I asked Emil (M.I.L.K.) on Instagram if we should do a collaboration without knowing him, apart from having many mutual friends. He was onboard with the idea from first contact and the song is a perfect fit for him, since his flavor is so sunny and smooth.” says Jacob,
On “Doing Fine”, M.I.L.K. generously offers his laid-back vocals, boosting the song’s positive and hopeful meaning: no matter how difficult life might be, someone somewhere has probably felt the same way, so you are not alone.
Motivational lyrics are at the core of “Doing Fine”. Singing over a cheerful and upbeat melody, Bellens and M.I.L.K. reiterate that there is no need to take yourself too seriously, and everything will work out eventually. The message is simple but important, something that everyone needs to hear from time to time. In case you were looking for a sign, “Doing Fine” just might be it.
“It’s a song about learning each day and living your life no matter what your circumstances may be.” says Jacob. “About letting go of the worries you have, how shameful or incomprehensible they might be, facing your problems and realizing we all have baggage. That beating up yourself is not working out for you, that you’re okay and doing fine :-)”
